Graphic Art

How do people feel about books with illustrations in them? Do you prefer to use your own imagination or to have a little lighter fluid for the the mind fed to you? I can go either way, although I am a very visual person. At what point is there to many illustrations and you just go off and watch a movie instead? Inquiring minds want to know.

  1. I’m definitely not a visual person. For us, people who are “unheard of” and indifferent to music, unrhythmic, and songless are said to be “stick-eared.”
I am rarely captivated by a sight, a sculpture, a picture, a work of art. Of course I’m glad it does if. An inner image projected by a reading that is created within me has a greater impact on me. In the case of an illustration of erotic writings, I prefer to see a subtle image with a pastel effect even in the case of a wild story. Sex in reading can be dirty, but the illustration should be tactful.
But I’m reconciled to the reverse also … And it can be anything. I can only walk … next to it with a minor child in front of the shop window without feeling the aggression of the sight. That is, the tactfull showcase of is also important.

  2. A very interesting question – when I read Maid to Serve, I didn’t really think clearly how the character looked, then when you posted a picture of the real girl, she looked a lot like I had thought! I guess your description was good! Well done you! I think pictures do add, but I’m not 100% sure they are required, sometimes imagination might be best, depends on the writer I think, though I do love a good picture!! 😀

  3. As long as the graphics don’t interfere with the story, I’m okay. I used to say I bought Playboy because of the stories, not the pics in a story. Still true today.
